Through this portal, you can reserve a barbecue spot free of charge. On site, you will receive a deposit token for your grill. Grilling at the designated barbecue areas is not permitted without this token. Subject to availability, you can also rent beer table sets on site.​

Reservations can only be made online via this portal or in person at the Neuer Hain kiosk. Reservations by phone or email are not possible.

It is not possible to reserve specific barbecue spots online.

In case of rain or bad weather, operations will be closed and no grill tokens will be issued. Payments already made for beer table sets will be automatically refunded.

Grilling is only permitted at the designated barbecue areas, i.e. on the provided stone slabs. Grilling outside the barbecue lawn/stone slab areas is not allowed. Park rangers and public order officers regularly monitor this. Violations may result in fines.

Each barbecue spot is designed for a maximum of ten people. Due to the high demand for the barbecue area, larger groups are asked to find another location. Larger celebrations and gatherings (e.g. corporate events, birthdays, etc.) are not permitted in order to protect the park and the residents.

Grill tokens and beer table sets are only issued upon presentation of a valid passport/ID with registered address.

Grill tokens must be collected from the Neuer Hain kiosk by 3:30 PM at the latest.

Borrowed beer table sets must be returned as agreed.

Bookings for beer table sets can be cancelled until 8 PM on the evening before. A cancellation fee of € 0.50 applies.

Neuer Hain
How does it work?
Book your barbecue spot online at:
www.neuer-hain.de
Collect your grill token for 20 € with an ID,
or for a 50 € deposit at the Neuer Hain kiosk.
Place your grill directly on the stone slab of your barbecue spot and attach the grill token visibly on the grill.
Collect your deposit back at the Neuer Hain kiosk when you return your grill token.
The barbecue lawn is located to the right of the park path and kiosk (see below).
Subject to availability, you can rent beer table sets on site.
Rules for Your Barbecue Enjoyment
Grilling is permitted with a prior booking at www.neuer-hain.de and with a deposit grill token from Neuer Hain.
The grill token must be attached directly to the grill, clearly visible.
Grilling is only allowed on the designated stone slabs of the barbecue spots.
Grilling is only permitted with standard grills that have a minimum clearance of 30 cm from the ground.
The grilling surface must not exceed 0.5 m², and only one grill per group is allowed.
Only charcoal may be used as fuel for grilling. Gas grills are also permitted.
The use of highly flammable accelerants is prohibited. Only solid fire starters are allowed.
Grilling large, whole animal products is prohibited.
All waste and ashes must be disposed of in the designated containers or otherwise removed from the park in an approved manner.
The grill token must be returned no later than half an hour before sunset. The deposit for the grill token will be refunded if the grilling rules are followed.
